About our guardforce

Our personnel are carefully recruited intelligent, physically fit and trained Ghanaians between the ages of 21 and 55. Megaforce’s men and women are selected through a three-tier recruitment regime consisting of physical selection, written aptitude tests and an oral interview.

They undergo a 5-day initial basic Protection Officer training which is followed up with the On-the-Job training at the various client’s premises where they are posted.

Prospective Megaforce employees are screened for suitability and are required to undertake Police vetting, provide proof of identity, evidence of previous employment, have a place of residence and provide two guarantors.

Training

Our training emphasis is focused on the loss prevention and all Megaforce’s Protection Officers are trained and examined in the classroom on various security and other subjects relevant to the provision of protection services. Megaforce Trainers all have a minimum of 5 years as instructors in both private and public security.

Our Training Programs are designed to educate the officers by acceptable international standards taking cognizance of our local conditions. All our officers are also trained in the Voluntary Principles of Security and Human Rights (VPSHR).

On-the-job training is given on site until the Protection Officer is competent to deal with specific customer needs.

Training records are maintained to support re-qualification and competence of all staff in undertaking specific tasks required by clients.
